ABA® (Applied Behavior Analysis) is designed to help children with the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to develop social and emotional skills. Applied Behavior Analysis is a type of interpersonal therapy that uses interventions based on principles of learning theory and positive reinforcement. ABA is widely considered to be evidence-based intervention for ASD that can improve functional status, behavior, and communication.

About 365aba

Hello! My name is Dr. Lena Gayevska, and I am a certified behavior analyst (IBA, QASP-S). I earned my doctorate at Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National University in Ukraine, where I also continued as an Associate Professor.

I am a mother of two; my younger son has special educational needs. I cherish spending time with my family and friends. Along with my colleagues, who are experts in behavior science, I am dedicated to providing continuous support to families with children who have special educational needs. I strive to support these families!

I have always felt fortunate to have a clear passion for teaching and helping people on a daily basis – it is an incredible experience! Many of us have also experienced relocation and are in the process of establishing new lives in new places, which presents the challenge of applying behavior science principles 365 days per year!

How can
I assist you?

I obtained a Ph. D. in Comparative Studies, and since 2014, I have been utilizing scientifically validated educational tools to aid children with behavioral challenges and offer support to their families. I am certified as an IBA (International Board Certified Behavior Analyst) and QASP-S (Qualified Autism Services Provider-Supervisor). However, I also encounter challenges while implementing science-based behavioral therapy to support my own son, who has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This involves a consistent process of repetition and positive reinforcement throughout the entire year, 365 days per year.

Goal for these families is to be able to live their lives in a way that is enjoyable, and allow them to include their child with special needs in the everyday social and recreational activities.

Many of my colleagues have experienced a drastic change in their lives. We can relate to the challenges experienced by refugee families, trying to establish their lives in a new place, while dealing with the day-to-day stress of caring for their child with special needs. Our goal is to help families to integrate behavioral therapy into their daily lives, so it becomes a part of their normal routine, 365 days a year.
